Rethinking High Streets Events Organiser
Globella worked to grow the HTN membership base, delivering events across the UK and online workshops exploring the regeneration of Town Centres.
About The Project
This was a nine-month contract designed as a marketing test assignment for the development phase of the Heritage Trust Network’s National Lottery Heritage Funded project, Essential Networks. As a consultant we worked closely with the Network’s Chief Executive to deliver a number of fee-earning events around High Street and Town Centre regeneration programmes and promote the Network’s Partner membership which was designed as a professional directory. The intention was to increase their financial resilience (a project outcome) and sustainability, whilst serving and supporting their members.
Five face-to-face events were designed and delivered across the UK to discuss, inspire and educate local authority officers, staff from regeneration partnerships (such as Business Improvement Districts), Government Heritage Agencies, professional advisors, contractors and consultants, community heritage organisations and other not-for-profit organisations providing business space and employment services, arts activities and housing.
The one-day conference agendas with relevant speakers and tours of the building and town centre areas were organised by Globella as well as marketing lists created to promote the events to the desired audience.
Six online events were also developed as a complimentary offering to those who were not able to attend in person. Globella hosted and delivered these events throughout November and December with an average of 35 attendees per event.
Membership was developed throughout the contract with over 400 new professional organisations being introduced to the network.

The Scope of Our Services
The Scope of services included, but was not limited to:

Finding venues for and organising in-person events, including tours and site visits, refreshments and technology.

Securing speakers/facilitators relevant to the topic area including case studies, research specialists.

Setting up and delivering online events.

Producing promotional copy and promoting the events.

Managing bookings using the Network’s systems.

Organising and analysing delegate feedback.
