WEDDING CELEBRATION
'Mr & Mrs Tomlinson'
As you all know, we disappeared off in June to get married with our parents, siblings and children. Exactly six months on we cannot wait to celebrate with the rest of our nearest and dearest and we would love for you to join us!

You are invited to celebrate our marriage with us on

at Grasmere Village Hall, Cumbria, LA22 9TA
What you need to know...
Where?
Grasmere is very dear to us having spent most of our relationship here. We have established our second home here and have fallen in love with the Lake District. Therefore we are having our celebration in our village of Grasmere at Grasmere Village Hall, Broadgate, Grasmere LA22 9TA. Parking is available at the Village Hall.

When?
Saturday 9th December 2023. Celebrations will start from 3pm until late. All Guests must be there by 4pm for "the official start".
​
The Event
Whilst we are celebrating our best day ever, it is important and exciting for us both to celebrate with family and friends with food, drink, music and laughter in equal measure!
​
Dress Code
Even though we are already married, this is still a wedding celebration so we would love for you to come dressed to celebrate with us! Dress code is formal/smart, but remember it is December! We would love it if boys were in blue and girls in pink, but no pressure!
​
Children
Whilst we love little ones, and Rose and Sophia played a very special part at our wedding in June, we kindly request a child-free celebration in December.
​
Food
We are keeping things simple but there will be plenty!
​
Bar
This is a celebration after all so bubbles will be flowing throughout the day on us! However we will also be having a pay as you go bar offering everything and anything. Card or cash accepted. Nearest cash machine is the Co-Op but this will close at 8pm.
​
Gifts
Whilst your attendance on our day is sincerely gift enough, should you have the urge. a contribution to our 'new lives' would be gracefully received. We do have a list running of things we need mostly sourced from some of Chris' suppliers!
​
Accommodation
We recommend staying in Grasmere as taxis around here are expensive. If you want to stay with us at Rothay Garden Hotel, the rate is £185 per night and use promo code 'CELEBRATION' when booking however we are not precious so there are plenty of other places to stay in the village from hotels, B&B's and holiday lets. Please let us know if you need any help!
